Moving On Up
At the beginning of this year, Eurway corporate employees left their cozy and comfy digs a la Eurway Corporate Office and took up residence in the Frisco and Dallas stores. Turning conference rooms and storage rooms into work spaces, everyone seemed quite settled in....except yours truly. Gone were the colored walls and private spaces; we were now surrounded by a blank and sterile environment, desperately in need of some TLC.
Imagine our glorious surprise when we arrived at work today to find that Cupid (aka Blake, our merchandiser du jour) had left us a rather large Valentine's treat. Our bland office had been transformed into a stylish retreat! 
He even finally hooked up our pendant lamp!! 
We've never felt so loved. Thank you Blake and all of the Frisco employees for making us feel so at home.

WHITE Hot Alert
Scoping out TMZ on my new IPhone (yes, I dropped the Blackberry and converted - ecstatically), I saw a news post that Jake Gyllenhaal and Reese Witherspoon reportedly rented an all white pad in London for $5900 a week! Glad to see this economy isn't effecting them! Needless to say, TMZ called this fabulous, modern dig "boring, plain and cold." 
Sorry TMZ, but I don't agree. I'd call it, "clean, sophisticated, and ethereal." Bloggers, what are your thoughts?
If anything, it's a great palette. White is totally in and sets a blank canvas for whatever direction you want to go: keep it simple, or spice it up. Add a sunny yellow for a summery vibe, or add accents of purple and green, or orange, for a warmer feel.
